Contact Policy

If you need to contact me between sessions regarding a change to a session time or cancellation, please leave me an email or a message on my voicemail. Email is preferred, and voicemail is for your convenience. I am are often not immediately available; however, I will attempt to return your communication within 48 hours.

Booking a session is done through the Jane webapp here.

If a true emergency situation arises, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. I do not provide emergency treatment.

EMAIL AND TELEPHONE ACCESSIBILITY

For non-urgent matters, please contact me at tony@tzpsych.com or 780-235-1710.

Phone calls between sessions that exceed 15 minutes may be billed proportionately to your session rate.

SOCIAL MEDIA AND TELECOMMUNICATION

Due to the importance of your confidentiality and the importance of minimizing dual relationships, I do not accept friend or contact requests from current or former clients on any social networking site (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc). I believe that adding clients as friends or contacts on these sites can compromise your confidentiality and our respective privacy. It may also blur the boundaries of the therapeutic relationship. If you have questions about this, please bring them up with me in session.

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION

I cannot guarantee the confidentiality of any form of communication through electronic media, including text messages.

Email and text messaging should be limited to scheduling, billing questions, and other administrative matters.

Please do not use email or text messaging to discuss clinical matters as these are not secure forms of communication.
